Hi,
Anyone can tell me that what kind of changes need to be made in existing code to use connection pool?
I have modified the server.xml file of tomcat 5.5 as per the instruction given in the documentation section.
Your early reply in this regard would be highly appreciated.

Hi, Using the javax.naming and javax.sql packages :
Context ctx = new InitialContext();
DataSource ds = (DataSource) ctx.lookup("java:comp/env/myPoolName");
Connection c = ds.getConnection();
The rest functions as you would normally. |
